Paige Knuth. This was a portrait shoot that I took yesterday. It was pretty fun. I bought these fake silk leaves and glued them on to her face. It was a little tough getting them to stick because they either kept sliding or they would stick off. You can really see it in the third picture, but it still looks pretty cool. It kind of looks like shes molting. I really like how the browns came out in the photos because they aren't too brown but just enough. The shoot took about an hour and a half. We met here at school during aims and starting gluing at 8. Then we starting shooting at 8:30 and was done by 9:20. She really liked peeling off the glue afterward....haha.
Photography to me is not just an art. It is a lifestyle. Everybody thinks that it is just “point and click,” but it is so much more than that. It is how stories are told and how invisible things are seen. Whether hidden, lost, or found, it can all be seen through a lens.

ABSTRACT
THESE PICTURES WERE FROM THE VERY FIRST PHOTO SHOOT WE HAD. THE FIRST ONE IS A BASKET THAT I GOT REALLY CLOSE TO. THE NEXT ONE IS A CACTUS THAT WAS IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE. I REALLY LIKED THE NEEDLES. THE THIRD IS MY BROTHER'S LIP. I DON'T KNOW HOW I GOT THE IDEA, BUT I LIKE HOW IT TURNED OUT. YOU CAN REALLY SEE THE LINES IN THE LIP AND THE LITTLE BLONDE HAIRS UNDERNEATH. IT TURNED OUT EVEN BETTER THAN I WANTED IT TO. THE LAST ONE IS OF SOMETHING RANDOM IN MY HOUSE. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS BUT I HAVE A BUNCH OF THEM IN MY HOUSE FOR DECORATIONS. THIS ONE WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAME OUT WELL.
BRODY
THIS IS BRODY. HE IS A BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG. HE'S THE SAME TYPE OF DOG AS MY OWN. HE IS 126 LBS AND HE'S HUGE. HE'S REALLY NICE AND FLUFFY. MY FAMILY WAS DOG SITTING HIM FOR THE WEEK. HE'S REALLY FUNNY BECAUSE HE ACTS LIKE HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY UNTIL EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE GOES OUT SIDE TO PLAY WITH HIM.

Commercial.
This is my commercial shoot from last quarter. I used Kason's neck and gave him kisses to get the lip marks. I added the text and took a picture of the lipstick I used. Then I photoshop-ed the lipstick in there. I really like how it turned out. I do wish that I had enough time to make the lipstick more like it was there the whole time.
Kason.Powers.
Kason Powers. I really liked taking this photo shoot. It was for fun at the beginning of this semester for the Winter Art Show. We went to this little canal type area by my house. I had him carry an umbrella just to have it and I actually didn't think I'd want to use it for the entire shoot, I had originally just wanted to test how it looked. I like the first picture because he's walking away. The second one was my favorite out of the entire shoot. I think that color looks dramatic. I like how you can see his shadow on the wall. The color on the wall is splotchy and it makes it interesting.

Anisa
ANISA PADILLA. THESE WERE PIECES FROM A RANDOM SHOOT I TOOK ON WEDNESDAY. IT WAS A BIT DIFFERENT BECAUSE SHE WASN'T AS ABLE TO COOPERATE AS SHE USUALLY IS. IT WAS ALSO A BIT BRIGHT FROM THE SUN. THE FIRST PICTURE, I LIKE THE FACT THAT SHE WAS LOOKING THROUGH ONE OF THE CRACKS OF THE GATE AND I LIKED THAT PART OF HER FACE HAD THE SUN FROM IT AND THE REST WAS SHADED. I USED THE DODGE TOOL ON THE GATE BECAUSE I FELT THAT IT GAVE A LITTLE MORE DRAMA TO IT. THE SECOND PICTURE, I LIKE THE ANGLE OF IT AND HOW SHE IS NOT LOOKING AT ME. I USED THE BURN TOOL ON THE UGATE TO MAKE IT LOOK SOMEWHAT BURNT AND I ALSO USED THAT TOOL ON TH BRANCHES OF THE TREE BEHIND HER. I FEEL THAT BURNING THOSE MAKE THE BRIGHTER COLORS STAND OUT A LITTLE MORE.

Revenge
Brandelyn Doering. These pieces were taken for one of my theme shoots. The theme is Revenge. In the first picture, it's like the beginning of her anger. She has no idea what she's doing, but she just keeps going. She is so mad that she is setting the flower on fire. She is feeling the image of the flower. A beautiful flower, just like herself, set on fire, like the emotion running through her mind. In the second picture, the flower is almost gone, night is approaching, and she starts to feel regret. She starts to somehow feel guilty and the look on her face shows that.
